Yesterday I took advantage of nice weather in Texas to Plasti-Dip my wheels.

!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!

People report driving with their wheels done for a few years with it holding up well. The good part is that if it gets damaged, I have enough left to do one more wheel in my garage. It's also not all that expensive should I decide to change it again later.

I liked the look of the stock wheels from the moment I bought the car, but always felt like they needed to be gold to go with the blue.

If you do the roof, either do it with an actual paint sprayer or get the bigger spray nozzles from dipyourcar.com. The pattern from the aerosol cans can cause striping if used on big areas. Otherwise, DO IT!

Funny thing- my roof is mostly glass, due to the panoramic sunroof. There's only about 6-8" of actually paintable metal around the edge of it that would actually be dipped and glossed. I wonder if that would work okay...

Interesting over vintage gold.

I kinda want to make my wheels a gold mix in gun metal. I'll be trying soon, just have no idea what color route to go. It's tough for me to make aesthetic decisions.

Performance blue is much better in person, but yes, I did ask if it was possible to get my FiST in that colour. It isn't, FYI :(
